Kaffestugan, literally Swedish for “coffee cottage”, is a little bit of Sweden in Chengdu. As a cottage café we provide you with a friendly place to while-away the hours, enjoy a bit of home style cooking, and have something to drink.

We hope you enjoy the fresh coffee, home cooked food, and the Scandinavian hospitality at Kaffestugan.

Coffee from the Heart

In every cup of our hand dripped coffee there is a bit of love from us to you. Hand dripped coffee is unique because it provides you with the full, rich flavour of each unique coffee through the slow pace of our brewing process. As the name says – we brew this by hand.

Since hand dripped coffee is ideal for enjoying the flavour of fresh coffee beans, it is usually drunk black. This delicious coffee is strong on flavour, but never muddy or bitter.

To ensure the freshness of the coffee Kaffestugan only uses the coffee beans within 2 weeks of their roasting.
